Noticeboard

We are now able to send appointment reminders to your mobile phone.  Please update your mobile number when you next visit the surgery.

We are now accepting new patient registrations at the practice.

We have acquired the services of two new salaried GP's at the practice;
Dr Victoria Carradice MB ChB 2006 & Dr Sreelatha Vengala MB BS 2003,
Who will be starting at the practice in April 2017.

NOTICE
Can all patients registered at Cottingham Medical Centre please read the "PRACTICE NEWS" page under the "Further Information" column on the right-hand side of this page concerning changes to the practice in the very near future.

Please be patient with our reception staff who are trying to do their best in this very challenging period for Cottingham Medical Centre

Dr. Kieran and partners are actively trying to recruit new young Doctors to join our team following the retirement of Dr. Morgan and the resignation of Dr. George.  Unfortunately we are having to use more locum GP's to help us manage the ever incresing workload and this understandably puts a strain on everyone.

Our receptionists will always endeavour to find you an appointment which is convenient for you but unfortunately it may not be with the Doctor of your choice.

If you could bear with us the situation will hopefully get better in the not too distant future.

Friends and family test

Please feel free to complete our Friends and family test.  The link is in the further information box on the right hand side of the webpage.

Home Visits

Doctor's bagIf possible please try to telephone reception before 10am if you require a home visit.

A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to send a nurse, or indeed arrange a hospital attendance.

House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the surgery.
