Retirement announcement.

Dr Elliott will be retiring from General Practice, after 29 years, in June of this year.

Dr Elliott writes;

"I joined Cottingham Medical Centre in Feb 1989 as a partner in practice. When I joined it was with the view that this would be my one and only practice. In addition to my GP role I worked for 20 years as a clinical assistant in rheumatology at Hull Royal Infirmary.

I am retiring after 29 years with a heavy heart but it is the correct decision for me and my family. I will be hanging up my stethoscope when I retire thus fulfilling my belief in one practice forever.

I wish all my patients well and can I say what a profound priviledge it has been to care for all of you over these past 29 years, in many cases, your families as well.

I am confident, despite the recent worries over GP recruitment, that I am leaving medical care in Cottingham in safe hands."
